Six highest-paid boxers of 2023, per Sportico

Sports media publication Sportico released its “100 Highest-Paid Athletes in the World” list, and six boxers made it to the list.

Canelo Alvarez (60-2-39-2)

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is the highest-paid boxer on the list at No. 17, with a total of $66 million. The 33-year-old Mexican fighter recently announced that he will make his boxing return on May 4.

Anthony Joshua (27-3-24)

Anthony Joshua (No.24) is the second highest-paid boxer with an income worth $55 million. Joshua, 34, will fight former MMA veteran Francis Ngannou on March 8.

Jake Paul (8-1-5)

Jake Paul (No. 37) is the third richest boxer with a total of $47 million, despite having only nine matches in his belt. Not bad for a former-YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Gervonta Davis (29-0-27)

Gervonta Davis (No.54) is the fourth boxer featured in the “Top 100 highest-paid athletes”, with a total income of $42.5 million.

Ryan Garcia (24-1-20)

Ryan Garcia (No.58) has earned $40.5 million despite not winning a belt in his young professional career. Garcia, 25, will have a chance to claim his first-ever title when he faces Devin Haney on April 20 in Las Vegas.

Tyson Fury (34-24-1)

Tyson Fury (No.64) completes the six highest-paid boxers of 2023, with a total income of $40 million.
