Terence Crawford’s several demands may prevent him from facing new world champion Sebastian Fundora, according to the latter’s promoter.

CRAWFORD’S CO-PROMOTER DEMAND UNLIKELY, SAYS PROMOTER

Crawford wants more money and to be the co-promoter of a fight with Fundora.

Such demands are unlikely to happen, said Fundora’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz.

Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) became the mandatory challenger to the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and World Boxing Council junior middleweight champion Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs).

Fundora posted a 12-round split decision win over Australian fighter Tim Tszyu (24-1,17 KOs) last Saturday night.

Lewkowicz suggested Crawford should next fight Jaron “Boots” Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) instead at 147 lbs.

LEWKOWICZ MORE KEEN ON FUNDORA-TSZYU REMATCH

Lewkowicz clarified that if Fundora recovers from his nose injury, he would fight Tszyu in a rematch in November.

“I will honor the rematch with Tszyu, and he deserves it,” Lewkowicz told Thaboxingvoice.

“I don’t know if Fundora needs nose surgery, so most likely, there will be no fight for Sebastian until November,” he added.

Fundora would vacate the title if the WBO refused a Tszyu rematch.
