Manny Pacquiao fights DK Yoo in exhibition match

Eight-division boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has jumped into the celebrity exhibition boxing trend. He is set to face in December YouTuber and Warfare Combat System founder DK Yoo.

Dubbed as “Boxer vs Meditator” in a post on Yoo’s Instagram account, the match will take place on December 10 in South Korea. The two combatants are slated to make things official with a contract signing on July 20 at Shangri-La The Fort in Taguig. They met earlier in June, as documented in another Instagram post on the Korean sports and fitness instructor’s account.

Yoo also posted on his YouTube channel on June 21 a video revealing the former Philippine senator as his next opponent.

Pacquiao announced his retirement from professional boxing in September 2021 before running for president of the Philippines in the 2022 elections. His last official fight was held a month prior at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada, USA, a unanimous decision loss to Yordenis Ugás for the WBA Super welterweight title.

Pac-Man” has a professional boxing record of 62 wins (39 by knockout), eight losses, and two draws.

Yoo fought MMA fighter Bradley Scott in a six-round boxing match in December last year, the latter emerging as the victor.
