TYSON HITS HEAVY BAG IN NEW FOOTAGE

Tyson has been seen hitting the heavy bag in the new training footage.

Boxing News 24  reported that the former undisputed world heavyweight champion still has fast hand speed in the training video compared to current world champions.

The 57-year-old retired fighter has agreed to take on YouTuber Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

However, there’s also a video circulating on social media of Tyson using a walking stick while in training. Reports said that the video was made several years ago.

HEARN, OLIVER, FANS CONCERNED OF TYSON’S HEALTH

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn is just one of many fans who are concerned about Tyson’s current condition upon seeing his old videos.

Hearn felt “incredibly sad’ for Tyson fighting again since a November 2020 exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.

“Mike Tyson’s nearly 60. I get it, a lot of people are going to tune in. But my opinion as a hardcore fight fan – it’s very sad,” Hearn said.

Former European super bantamweight champion Spencer Oliver told talkSport boxing watchalong during the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou fight that he was “scared” for the Tyson-Paul fight.

“I just can’t get my head around it, to be honest. I think it is a sad day for the sport. What damage would that do to Mike Tyson’s legacy?” he asked.
