CRAWFORD FIGHT ‘AN OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME GREAT’

Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs) describes a potential matchup against unbeaten world champion Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) as “an opportunity to become great.”

A Tszyu-Crawford fight became possible after the American fighter became Tszyu’s mandatory challenger for the World Boxing Organization’s 154-lb belt.

“Once the opportunity arises for Crawford, that’s going to be a war,” Tszyu said.

“(Errol) Spence didn’t look the same (against Crawford). From the get-go, he looked off balance and maybe weight drained. It was different,” he added.

TSZYU WELCOMES JUNE, JULY SCHEDULE FOR CRAWFORD

Tszyu doesn’t mind a short break should he beat Fundora (21-1, 13 KOs).

The 29-year-old Australian champion can squeeze in a June or July schedule to take on Crawford.

“It’s sweet, man. I’ve had four fights in 12 months,” Tszyu said.

“Me and him are a completely different style. He’s a southpaw and I’m orthodox,” he added.
