Like every Filipino, Manny Pacquiao loves to play basketball. And him being active on the court, like he was on the ring, was the stuff of all media these days.
There were already highlights on his play, especially during his time in the PBA as the playing head coach of the Kia/Mahindra/TerraFirma franchise. He got cheers whenever he gets to play, and jeers to their opposition whenever they defend him
Just ask Chris Tiu.
PacMan trended once again in the basketball scene, as he was on hand at his hometown of Sarangani in one of the playdates of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, in which he was the league’s founder.
Before one of those games, he was egged on to hit a three-pointer and he did. And for a good measure, he turned away just before it went through the net.
What Pacman did was a familiar sight, with Golden State’s Stephen Curry popularizing those look-away three pointers, like this.
